Horseplay Camp

Horseplay camp is an all abilities summer program for children and teens with and without special needs. The camp incorporates a variety of mounted and unmounted equine activities such as riding, driving, horse handling, grooming, stable chores and barn management. All activities emphasize self-development and team building. Students participate in herd observation and study to develop communication, safety, and horsemanship skills. Additional activities include music, movement, drama, arts and crafts. Each camper leaves their unique “hoof print” on the farm, such as additions to the sensory trail, games for other campers, or signage for our trail system. We emphasize responsible stewardship practices for our Earth, teaching and practicing ways in which to respect, preserve and protect our natural environment.

*Due to COVID-19 guidelines and protocols, our 2021 camp programs may look different than in prior years. This may include limiting the number of campers, shortening the camp day to 9AM-12PM and/or adapting certain activities. While we may be unable to accomplish all of the usual activities listed above, we are committed to providing our campers with as many exciting and horse-filled activities as we are able to safely accomplish.*

If you are interested in signing up for Horseplay Camp, please fill out and submit our Horseplay Camp Application available here. Once your application is received, you will get a follow-up email or phone call confirming the week(s) that your camper is signed up for. We require a $100 deposit with or shortly following the application in order to hold your child's space in camp. The remainder of the camp fee is due by the first day of camp. Please contact us with any additional questions.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We look forward to your child joining High & Mighty's all abilities Horse Play Camp. We offer therapeutic riding, driving and other equine assisted activities to both children and adults. We offer an opportunity to experience our horses both on the ground, under saddle and in the carriage. Our program also incorporates art, music and games while learning from our equine friends. Safety is always our number one priority. For that reason, we ask you to fill out the attached camp application form as well as the liability and photo release form. In addition, please have your child’s Health Care Provider complete and sign the medical history forms. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 518-672-4202 or email me at . Please also visit our web site at to learn more about our organization. Thank you and see you at the farm.
