Horseplay Summer Program
Our Horseplay Summer Program is an all-abilities program for children and teens that combines mounted and unmounted equine activities such as riding, driving, grooming, horse handling, stable chores, and barn management. The program offers a safe, supportive environment where students can explore their interests and develop new skills.
All activities focus on self-development, teamwork, and practical horsemanship. Students participate in hands-on exercises, herd observation, and daily care routines, helping them build communication, safety, and equestrian skills, while fostering confidence, responsibility, and a strong connection with the horses and their peers.
In addition to equine activities, participants enjoy time in nature, games, crafts, and other hands-on experiences. Each participant leaves their unique “hoof print” on the farm through contributions like enhancing the sensory trail, designing games for fellow participants, or creating signage for our trail systems, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in their work.
Our program emphasizes environmental stewardship, teaching participants practical ways to respect, preserve, and protect our natural world. Join us for a summer filled with fun, learning, and meaningful connections with horses and the outdoors!
