It’s comfortable because inclusion and acceptance are built into the ethos of the barn and are exuded by every staff member and volunteer we interact with. Cameron, who is autistic, can be himself and we, his parents, never have to explain or apologize for his characteristics. It is also a place of growth for us. Cameron is working on so many skills at once, which is why we got involved in the first place. At High & Mighty, he is improving in fine motor skills, hand and core strength, following directions, staying focused, and communicating … just to name a few! We feel so fortunate to be a part of this community that supports our family whole-heartedly.”
